Seeing people fully is the heart of my work.

Behind the camera, I’m a storyteller, an empath, and your biggest hype woman. This is why this work matters so deeply to me and how it might mean something to you, too.

I’ve been captivated by people, emotion, and storytelling for as long as I can remember. My journey began in childhood—my twin sister and I grew up romanticizing life through imagination and play. We spent hours making movies on our family camcorder, dressing up in thrifted outfits, acting out scenes from the past, and preserving our little world through art.

Photography became my way of freezing that sense of wonder. It was never about chasing trends—it was always about preserving legacy. About giving people something they can return to when they forget how beautiful and whole they are.

The older I get, the more I realize this: photographs are a form of worship. Each one captures a breath of truth, a whisper of belonging, a sacred moment in time that says, “You were here. You mattered.”

The Heart Behind the Lens

MY WHY

I’ve always wanted to be an imperfect Martha Stewart—someone who brings people together, creates meaningful moments, and reminds others of their worth. That desire threads through everything I do.

My faith in Jesus Christ is at the core of that. I’ve known Him since I was five years old, and though life hasn’t always been easy, He has shown up in every chapter. When doors closed, others opened. When I questioned my worth or my direction, God remained constant. My work isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. Every person I photograph, every story I help tell, matters deeply to me.

We are not meant to walk through this life alone. No matter where you’re at in your journey, my goal is to hold space for you with tenderness, joy, and deep respect for the unique path that brought you here.

On Beauty

It’s not always easy to see our own beauty—especially in a world that profits off our insecurities. But I believe that every feature, every line, every quirk is a piece of legacy. A reflection of the family, history, and soul that shaped you.

Perfection was only ever achieved by one Man. The rest of us? We’re beautifully, purposefully imperfect—and worthy of celebration just as we are.

In This Season

Lately, my life moves at a gentler pace. Books within reach. Music setting the tone. Bread rising on the counter. Open windows when the weather allows. I’ve learned that atmosphere has the quiet power to shape how we feel, how we rest, and how we create.

Home, for me, is where legacy gathers—shelves lined with inherited stories, a fireplace that warms more than the room, space made ready for connection. These ordinary rhythms steady me.

Marriage has changed me, too. I married my high school sweetheart, and growing up alongside him has taught me humility, patience, and the kind of love that deepens with time.

In this season, I’m learning to live sustainably—in body, mind, and spirit. Rest no longer feels like a reward. It feels like wisdom. And paradoxically, the more grounded I become, the braver my creative work grows.

IF YOU’RE NERVOUS

I get it. Being photographed is vulnerable. It can feel scary, indulgent, or even unfamiliar—but I promise you, it’s worth it.

This is an investment in yourself, your story, and your legacy. Whether you arrive camera-ready or hesitant and unsure, I’m here for it. You are not just a client—you are someone with value, a past and a future, and a presence worth remembering.

I know what it’s like to avoid the camera. I spent much of my 20s believing I wasn’t good enough to be seen. I let insecurities steal moments I’ll never get back. Today, I fight for my clients (and myself) to see the beauty of now—not just for ourselves, but for our future children, our partners, our friends.

You deserve to exist in photos, and I will be with you every step of the way to make sure you do.

If Any of This Feels Familiar

You don’t need to be fearless to walk into the studio. You just need to be willing. Willing to be directed. Willing to experiment. Willing to stay open even if it feels unfamiliar at first. I’ll take care of the structure, the pacing, the flow. You get to focus on being present. From there, everything starts to take shape.

A FINAL THOUGHT

We’re all doing life for the first time—feeling our way forward, learning as we go. So come as you are. Cry, laugh, feel awkward, feel bold. Whatever unfolds, I’ll be there with camera in hand and heart wide open, capturing the truth of who you are in this fleeting, miraculous moment.
